Next Assassin’s Creed game name reportedly leaked
This year marks the fifteenth anniversary of Assassin’s Creed and boy, didn’t it happen fast? To celebrate, Ubisoft announced that it will reveal the future of the franchise during a livestream in September. That hasn’t stopped fans from theorizing what the next game might look like – with theories predicting an Aztec or Japanese setting. It turns out that none of those things seem to be true.
Check out the new trailer for the upcoming RPG Where the winds meet that gives off some serious Assassin’s Creed vibes.
A brand new leak suggests that the franchise’s next game will be titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage after previous rumors claimed he was to be called crevasse Where Infinite. The latest leak comes from YouTuber j0nathan who further added that fans should expect the game to land between April and June 2023.
The YouTuber claims the game will be set in 9th century Baghdad and go back to “basics”. Given the number of rumors surrounding the next AC entry, you might be wondering if j0nathan’s claims are valid. Well, as always, take it all with a pinch of salt, but the claims have been confirmed by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier – including the headline Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Someone familiar tells me that parts of this new Assassin’s Creed leak are true (like the name and other things Bloomberg has already reported: Spring 23, Baghdad, back to AC bases) and other parts are not (“multiple cities to explore”) https://t.co/qmM6UZtKnG
